The property itself was clean and well-located, but the overall experience was disappointing. When we arrived at 2 PM, there was no electricity. We were told it would resume by 4 PM, yet even by 6 PM nothing changed.
We had paid in advance for meals, but there was no high tea until 7:30 PM. The caretaker was nowhere to be found and a child was left managing things. We didn’t even have drinking water available. The place is managed by VILLAZIO — the host and manager stayed in touch, but nothing was actually resolved.
Later, when we came back after dinner around midnight, there was still no electricity and the inverter wasn’t working. None of our calls were answered, and we ended up spending the night without fans, bitten by mosquitoes. We were told we’d be shifted to a backup villa, but that never happened.
The next morning, breakfast was delayed by more than two hours. We checked out exhausted and frustrated.
This trip was meant to be a memorable reunion after 15 years, but instead it turned into unnecessary stress. The property has good potential, but the mismanagement ruined the entire stay.
For anyone trying to book this! Don't pay anything upfront (deposit/food), it looked like they didn't care after getting paid.
I hope others don’t have to go through the same experience.
